FLO Signs Agreement with General Motors to Offer GM EV Customers More Seamless Access to Public Charging

QUEBEC CITY, QC – APRIL 29, 2021 – FLO is pleased to confirm that it has signed an agreement with General Motors to make public charging more convenient for GM vehicle owners in the U.S. and Canada. As part of GM’s Ultium Charge 360, EV customers will soon be able to easily see real-time charging information, find stations along a route, and initiate and pay for charging across EV charging networks directly through GM vehicle mobile apps.1

“This is another milestone in FLO’s growth, and a brilliant example of how, through collaboration, we can make the experience of EV drivers in Canada and the United States smooth and convenient,” says Louis Tremblay, President and CEO of FLO. “We are very excited to see our work with GM come to fruition. We have always believed that, to accelerate EV adoption, we all had to encourage openness between networks and focus on what matters most to EV drivers. Kudos to GM for rallying major charging networks and for breaking new ground. We are excited to know our growing network will be easily accessible to GM EV owners in the US and in Canada.”

Ultium Charge 360 will provide GM EV customers, with easy, real-time information from nearly 60,000 charging plugs throughout the U.S. and Canada, find stations on their way, including those on the FLO network, and pay for charging, all from their GM vehicle mobile app.
