EV charging incentive programs for businesses
Your business could take advantage of various incentive programs to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Learn more about the programs in place across Canada.
EV drivers interested in installing a charging station for their home are also eligible to incentive programs.
National incentive programs
The Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Project offers funding to support the installation of Level 2 and fast charging stations. The Program will pay up to 50% of the total project costs to a maximum of $50,000 per charging unit and up $5 million per project.
British Columbia
Workplace charging
CleanBC – GoElectric EV Charger Rebate Program provides a rebate of 50% off, up to $4,000 per charger for Level 2 charging stations in workplaces. Click here for more information.
Multi-unit residential buildings charging
CleanBC – GoElectric Charger Rebate Program provides a rebate of 50% off, up to $4,000 per charger for Level 2 charging stations in multi-unit residential buildings. Click here for more information.
Public DC Fast Chargers
CleanBC – Go Electric Public Charger Program provides up to $130,000 (up to 50% of your total project costs) per DCFC with output of 20kW or greater. Click here for more information.
Québec
Workplace charging
- The Charging station at work program offers a 50% rebate for the purchase and installation of charging stations at workplaces, up to $5,000 per charging station.
- The City of Épiphanie offers a 50% rebate for the purchase of a level 2 charging stations at workplaces or public sites.
- The City of Nicolet offers financial assistance of 500$ for the purchase of charging stations. This rebate is available for municipalities, businesses and organizations.

EV Charger and E-Bike (ECEB) provides a rebate of 50% off, up to $2,000 per charger for Level 2 charging stations in workplaces in the city of Edmonton.
