Founded by Louis Tremblay in Quebec City in 2009, FLO has evolved into a leader in the field. We now operate an extensive charging ecosystem that stretches across North America and we’ve grown into a comprehensive designer and operator of EV charging systems — from our residential and commercial charging stations to our solutions for station owners.

Louis Tremblay

President and Chief Executive Officer

A trailblazer in the field of electric mobility in Canada, Louis co-founded FLO in 2009 while he was still a student at Laval University (Quebec). Over the years, he’s established himself as an influential and respected figure in the electric vehicle (EV) industry as he guides his company to become a leader in EV charging solutions and operator of a major North American charging network. Louis graduated from Laval University with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and graduate-level studies in Power Electronics.

Francis Baillargeon

Chief Financial Officer

Francis has more than fifteen years of financial management, strategic and transactional experience. He most recently spent five years as executive and Associate Vice President in the Corporate Development and Strategy group of The Toronto-Dominion Bank, where he led acquisitions, strategic partnerships and corporate investments. He was previously an investment banker specialized in mergers and acquisitions and financings for over 10 years in Toronto and New York, including 8 with Goldman Sachs. Francis holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.

Alexandre Louis

Chief Revenue Officer

As head of FLO's sales department, Alexandre leads a global team focused on growing premium revenue while driving sales strategy and market development. Alexandre has over fifteen years of sales and management experience in small, medium and large companies. He has led several projects focused on the Internet of Things while leveraging data and connectivity to bring to market comprehensive solutions to meet the complex needs of today's EV industry. Since joining FLO, he has played a pivotal role in building strong relationships with key clients, leading revenue growth and aligning sales objectives to business strategy.

Travis Allan

Chief Legal and Public Affairs Officer

Travis J. Allan is the Chief Legal and Public Affairs Officer at FLO, one of North America's leading electric vehicle charging networks and manufacturer of charging solutions. Travis works to advance policies that reduce transportation emissions while leading FLO’s legal, regulatory, communications, public affairs, ESG and corporate secretarial functions. He was named a 2023 Canadian to Watch by Automotive News Canada, is the Chair of Electric Mobility Canada's National Government Relations Committee and a member of the executive committee, a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Electric Autonomy, he has been selected as one of Canada's leading energy lawyers by Who's Who Legal, serves as a contributing editor at the International Energy Law Review (published by Sweet & Maxwell) and has previously served as adjunct faculty at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.

Nathan Yang

Chief Product Officer

Nathan Yang is FLO’s Vice-President and Chief Product Officer. He leads all product innovation activities of the company, including hardware and software. His unique blend of expertise in software, hardware, and cloud, combined with engineering, product and design experience is fundamental in accelerating the evolution of the FLO products. Nathan brings FLO rich experience in multiple sectors including test and automation, connected home, workplace collaboration, and connected cars. A Montreal native, Yang holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University.
Martine St-Onge

Martine St-Onge

Chief Manufacturing Operations Officer

Martine has more than 25 years of experience in supply chain and operations management. In her previous roles at Bombardier, Hershey Canada, Abitibi-Consolidated Inc., or Abitibibowater Inc., she has successfully led and developed procurement, production planning, production transfer, production engineering, shipping and receiving logistics teams in Canada and internationally. Green Belt Six Sigma and LEAN certified, she has used her continuous improvement skills to manage growth intelligently and efficiently. Martine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Operations and Production Management from HEC Montreal, and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management of Technology (M.Sc.A) from École Polytechnique de Montréal. Martine's management style is strongly influenced by her training as a business coach. Certified ACC with the International Coach Federation (ICF), she advocates a mobilizing coach-leaders approach.

Martin Brière

Chief Network and Experience Officer

Martin is based in Montreal, QC and leads the company’s charging network and customer service operations. Throughout his extensive experience, Martin has led several multi-site projects to optimize telecommunications networks while working at companies like Bell Canada, Eastlink, Telecon, and, most recently, at Iristel as Vice President of Wireless Network. He has also previously been a senior advisor at McKinsey. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS).

Chris Thorson

Chief Marketing Officer

Chris brings over 25 years of marketing expertise from the communications industry. Before joining FLO, he led product marketing for Poly where he was responsible for a US$2B portfolio of video, voice, software, and services offerings. Throughout his career, Chris has launched hundreds of new solutions across direct, indirect and e-commerce channels. Chris takes a multi-disciplinary approach to marketing having led product marketing, product management, alliances, competitive, operations, and channel marketing functions. Chris received his MBA from Santa Clara University and holds a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

Sébastien Desrochers

Chief Talent Officer

Sébastien brings over 20 years of HR management experience in various industries and cultural settings. At L’Oréal Group, he developed and implemented projects on an international scale in Canada and in France. He was also in charge of human resources at the company’s Middle East subsidiary in Dubai and Russian subsidiary in Moscow. In 2017, he became executive director of human resources at Camso, a manufacturer of off-road tires and tracks. There, he led the development of international teams in three business units and oversaw their integration following their acquisition by Michelin Group in 2019. Sébastien has a master’s degree (M.Sc.) in human resources management from Université de Sherbrooke.

Tom Werner

Chair of the board

Tom Werner is a business advisor with extensive experience in leadership roles in technology and energy organizations. For 18 years, he was on the front lines of the solar revolution serving as CEO of SunPower. During his tenure, Tom grew the business from a privately held company of 35 employees with revenues of less than $5 million to a publicly traded industry leader with a market value that reached $11 billion and an installed base of 350,000 clients. Over the years, he has held numerous senior leadership positions such as CEO at Silicon Light Machines, a subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor, and general manager of the Business Connectivity Group of 3Com. He currently serves on the boards of Wolfspeed, H2U, the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, CALSSA, the University of Wisconsin College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board and the Marquette University Board of Trustees.

Louis Tremblay

Dany St-Pierre

Dany St-Pierre is president of Cleantech Expansion, where she advises entrepreneurs in the smart mobility sector. Her expertise in international marketing, product and technology innovation, sales of major capital goods, and mergers and acquisitions were built on more than 20 years of experience with global publicly traded transportation and energy manufacturers such as Bombardier, Siemens, Alstom and Nordex. She currently serves as an Independent Member of the Board of Boralex and of Logistec Corporation, and she represents CDPQ, one of the world largest institutional investors on the board of Demers Ambulances.
Renée Bergeron

Renée Bergeron

Board member

Renée Bergeron serves as Chief Operating Officer, AppDirect. She leads the world’s largest B2B technology services marketplace, where she oversees AppSmart’s strategy, sales, marketing, service delivery and business development initiatives. Prior to joining AppSmart, she served as Senior Vice President of the Global Cloud Division at Ingram Micro, where she grew revenues to over $1 billion over 9 years and led the $300 million IT Services Solutions business at Fujitsu America. A thought-leader in the technology industry for more than 25 years and a channel veteran, she’s been recognized for her industry contributions with awards including CRN’s Most Powerful Women in the Channel for eight years running, as well as CRN Channel Chief, CDN Top 20 Women in IT, Canada, the Channelnomics Influencers Award, Diversity Journal Women Worth Watching and more.

Cassie Bowe

Member of the board

Cassie Bowe has over a decade of experience in energy across a range of technologies and functional roles. She joined EIP in 2017 and is now a partner on the investment team leading investments in multiple areas of the energy transition. Prior to joining EIP, Ms. Bowe worked for 5 years at SunPower, one of the largest global solar companies, in policy and strategy. At SunPower she was responsible for global market analysis, legal and regulatory assessment, and new country entry. She has also gained operating experience at energy storage, micro-grid and energy asset management startups in business development and finance roles. Ms. Bowe holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a BA in Economics from Harvard University, and was selected for Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy (2018).

Pierre Nelis

Member of the board

Pierre Nelis is Chief Operating Officer at Inno-Centre, where he advises innovative SMEs and early-stage technology companies in the pursuit of their growth and performance objectives. Throughout his career, Mr. Nelis has worked in a variety of fields, for companies such as Tecsult (engineering consulting), Groupe Noranda, and Bristol Myers Squibb (pharmaceuticals), eventually ending up at special effects software pioneer Softimage, which was later acquired by Microsoft. Pierre is Chair of the Board of the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of Simactive and EVLO Energy.

Richard Cherney

Member of the board

Richard Cherney is a senior partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets & Securities and Private Equity practices at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. He advises public and private companies, including Alimentation Couche-Tard (Circle K), New Look Vision Group, the Kaycan group of companies and Air Canada, on their most important transactions, investments and capital raising. He served as a director of several public companies, including Le Château and is also chairman of The Montréal General Hospital Foundation. A long-time member of Davies’ Management Committee, he was Managing Partner in the Montréal office from 2000 to 2015. Mr. Cherney is also a key adviser to a number of national investment dealers regarding public and private financings. He is currently director and counsel of New Look Vision Group, director of Uniboard Canada and ExCellThera, and chairman of the Board of Mackinnon Bennett & Company and eStruxture Data Centers.
Philippe Bonin

Philippe Bonin

Member of the board

Philippe Bonin is Chief Financial Officer at Talent.com, a global job search engine and recruitment platform, with operations in 15 countries. Prior to joining Talent.com, he was Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Corporate Development at Cogeco Inc., a leading North American telecommunications provider, where he led a number of significant M&A transactions and organic growth initiatives. He also held senior leadership positions with organizations in various industries such as TC Transcontinental, Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec and Ernst & Young. Philippe is a CPA and holds an MBA from McGill University.
