Con Edison’s EV Fast Charging Per-Plug Incentive

Con Edison’s Electric Vehicle Charging Per-Plug program offers incentives for DC fast charging stations for electric vehicles. Incentives are available on a first-come, first-served basis and based upon power capacity and year equipment placed in service. To be eligible, the DC fast charger must have a minimum output of 50 kW (60% incentive for chargers rated 50 kW-74 kW) and be publicly accessible without restriction or fees for parking. National Grid – Fleet Advisory Services and Make-Ready Program

The National Grid’s Fleet Advisory Services and Make-Ready Program for fleets in Upstate New York will fund up to 100% of the infrastructure associated with the installation of the EV charging station. For medium- and heavy- duty fleets, the incentive covers up to 90% of utility-side make-ready costs. Light-duty fleets can receive funding under the commercial make-ready program. That funding provides 50%, 90%, or 100% of the infrastructure funding, depending on eligibility. National Grid – EV Charging Station Make-Ready Program

National Grid’s Electric Vehicle Charging Station Make-Ready Program incentives are available at little to no cost for businesses and organizations looking to enhance their sustainability commitment. Workplaces, retail stores, multi-unit dwellings, and public destinations in Upstate New York territory can receive funding. The program will fund up to 100% of the infrastructure associated with the installation of the EV charging stations. FLO’s CoRe+™ charging station qualifies for this program. PSEG Long Island Fast Charge Program

The PSEG Long Island DC Fast Charge incentive recipients will receive an annual per plug payout, payable at the end of each 12-month anniversary. The maximum incentive is $10,000 (60% incentive for chargers rated 50 kW-74 kW)The level of the incentive depends upon the power rating of the DCFC, and the configuration of plugs associated with the charging equipment. Orange and Rockland – POWEREADY 

Available in Northwestern suburbs of New York City, this funding is intended to support make-ready project costs in public and private locations, including municipal paid parking (eligible for 50, 90% or 100% of Make-Ready costs). Applicants who meet certain program conditions can get incentives that cover up to 100% of the energy company and customer costs of installing level 2 or direct current fast-charging stations in designated “Areas of Opportunity” areas in New York. Central Hudson EV Make-Ready Program (Light Duty) 

Available in Southeast New York State, this program offers funding for publicly available DC Fast and Level 2 chargers. Funding may provide up to $7,500 for Level 2 and is assessed on a $/kW basis for DCFCs. Learn more about Central Hudson EV Make-Ready program

National Grid offers funding for make-ready costs for clients installing EV chargers in non-public locations, including workplace and privately-owned pay-to-park lots, and multi-unit residential buildings. New York State Gas & Electric – EV Make Ready Program 

NYSEG offers funding in Central New York State for make-ready costs when installing EV chargers in non-public locations, including workplace and privately-owned pay-to-park lots, and multi-unit residential buildings. RG&E Make Ready Program  

RG&E offers funding in the city of Rochester and surrounding counties for make-ready costs when installing EV chargers in non-public locations, including workplace and privately-owned pay-to-park lots, and multi-unit residential buildings. Charge Ready NY 2.0

NYSERDA’s Charge Ready NY 2.0 program offers incentives to public, private, and not-for-profit organizations that install Level 2 charging stations at workplaces, multi-unit dwellings (MUDs), or public facilities that are owned and operated by municipal or state government entities. You could receive up to $4,000 per charging port installed at a public facility (must be located within a Disadvantaged Community), or up to $2,000 per charging port installed at a workplace or MUD location. Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

Qualifying businesses, including non-profits and municipalities, may be eligible to a tax credit of up to 30% when purchasing and installing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The 30C tax credit now covers up to $100,000 per charger installed in locations that meet certain geographic requirements. Businesses must claim the credit on their federal tax return. National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program

The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding to states to deploy EV fast chargers along designated alternative fuel corridors nationwide. The program provides funding for up to 80% of eligible project costs. In addition to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) minimum standards, each state can also set its own NEVI requirements.
