FLO Level 2 charging stations are capable of transferring up to 19.2kW of energy per hour. On average these can deliver 15-25kms of range per hour and recharge a battery from 0-100% within 8-12 hours depending on the vehicle’s acceptance rate and battery design*.
Consider placing these stations in areas where dwell time will be longer than 1 hour: customer parking, employee parking, inventory lots, and service & maintenance bays.
FLO’s Level 2 charging stations feature a J1772 connector and are compatible with all electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle models in North America. Our fast chargers are compatible with vehicles equipped with CHAdeMO or SAE Combo charging ports.
Tesla vehicles are compatible with FLO charging stations when using the Tesla to J1772 or Tesla to CHAdeMO adapter provided by Tesla.
FLO Level 3 (DC Fast) charging stations are capable of transferring 50kW, 100kW, and up to 320kW of energy per hour. On average these stations can recharge a vehicle from 0-80% within 40 minutes depending on the vehicle’s acceptance rate and battery size*.
Installation costs will vary by site, depending on the available on-site electrical capacity, distance of chargers to the electrical panels, any required civil work, electrical upgrades, permitting and other factors.
The cost will vary depending on: the speed of charger selected, configuration (i.e.: single head vs. dual head mounting), accessories required (i.e.: cable management systems, pedestal, mounting brackets), selected maintenance & warranty plans, and operation fees.

The difference between Level 2 vs Level 3 (DC Fast) chargers comes down to speed and time. Level 2 stations use AC power and offer energy transfer speeds up to 19.2kW (80 amps) which can recharge an average EV from 0-100% within 8-12 hours*. Whereas a Level 3 (DC Fast) charger can supply energy at much higher speeds since they bypass the vehicle’s on-board charger and transfer energy directly to the battery, which can reduce time to charge from 0-80% within 40 minutes or less* depending on the available kW speed offered by the station.
*Recharge time is based on an average of current market EV models. Recharge time may vary depending on make and model, charger energy transfer speed, temperature, and battery capabilities.
Depending on your station use (public or private), your location, and utility provider, you may be eligible to receive rebates and special incentives. To see a list of programs in your area, check out our , or Rebates & Incentives page, or speak to one of our representatives.
FLO Level 2 stations come equipped with a SAE J1772 connector and FLO Level 3 (DC Fast) chargers offer both CHAdeMO and CSS. These connectors are universally accepted by current generation EV models offered by: BMW, Ford, Genesis, GM, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Rivian, Stellantis, Toyota, & Volkswagen. Tesla vehicles can use FLO Level 2 & Level 3(DC Fast) charging stations by using an adapter.
FLO’s new stations, including the FLO UltraTM DC Fast charger, are already designed to support NACS cables if requested by customers or site hosts. Moving forward, we have options for customers with existing stations to be able to transition to the NACS connector as automakers transition towards the NACS standard.
North American Charging Standard (NACS) is a universal charging connector design that aims to simplify the driver experience by offering one type of connector for both Level 2 & Level 3 (DC Fast) stations. This will eliminate the need for multiple connector types (SAE J1772, CHAdeMO, and CSS) by standardizing connector design. The NACS connector is currently designed for use with Tesla vehicle ports and several major OEMs have recently announced their intention to adopt this connector and port design in the future production of electric vehicle (EV) model releases.
