QUÉBEC, May 19th, 2020 — AddEnergie® is proud to welcome Geneviève Grenier as VP & Chief Strategy Officer and Francis Baillargeon as VP & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). These appointments represent an important milestone in the company’s progression to becoming a world leader in EV charging. Geneviève and Francis will play key roles in solidifying AddEnergie’s domestic operations and leading the international expansion of its FLO® network. These additions to AddEnergie’s leadership team also place the company in a better position than ever to navigate external challenges related to COVID-19 and position aggressively for the anticipated economic recovery.
Geneviève Grenier – VP & Chief Strategy Officer
Geneviève has been a pillar of AddEnergie’s growth over the last 5 years, during which she advised the company as a consultant on many mandates of strategic importance. In her new role, she will be in charge of creating long-term value from customers, markets, and relationships, and coordinating the Marketing, Design Experience, Data Analytics and Business Line Management (BLM). She will work with clients, investors and stakeholders to support the company’s expansion.
Geneviève has a rich background in business strategy, marketing, interaction and experience design and communication. Among her many professional accomplishments, she was Co-General Director and Chief Strategy Officer at BBDO Montreal. In 2015, Geneviève founded La Famille, a consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations find clarity and make the best decisions with their corporate positioning, growth plan, go-to-market, product and marketing strategies. It was in this capacity that she helped AddEnergie launch the strong and widely recognized FLO network.
Geneviève has held many board seats over the years, including with the Berthiaume-Du Tremblay Foundation, the COOP ETABLI and THE FEED – Foundation to End the Epidemic of Diabetes – MUHC. She holds a degree in industrial design from Université de Montréal, as well as a business administration degree from HEC Montréal.
Francis Baillargeon – VP & Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
In his role, Francis will oversee AddEnergie’s finance and investment operations, organizational performance and strategic development. As such, he will play an important part in making the company more competitive in its business model and efficient in its operations, and will lead financial compliance, fundraising and governance initiatives.
Francis has more than fifteen years of financial management, strategic and transactional experience. He most recently spent five years as executive and Associate Vice President in the Corporate Development and Strategy group of The Toronto-Dominion Bank, where he led acquisitions, strategic partnerships and corporate investments. He was previously an investment banker specialized in mergers and acquisitions and financings for over 10 years in Toronto and New York, including 8 with Goldman Sachs. Francis holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.
