The FLO Ultra™ fast charging station is the ideal solution for meeting the needs of the United States National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program.
What are the NEVI Program's requirements?
NEVI requirements were designed to provide convenient, reliable, affordable, and equitable charging to EV drivers. To be eligible for NEVI funding, your project must meet the following requirements*:
- Be located within 1 mile from a designated alternative fuel corridor.
- Support at least 150 kW per port simultaneously across 4 ports minimum.
- Maintain 97% uptime and be operational and maintained for a minimum of 5 years.
- Be publicly accessible 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
In addition to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) minimum standards, each state can also set its own NEVI requirements.

What does NEVI funding cover?
Funding is available for up to 80% of eligible costs, including:
- Installation and make-ready costs.
- EV charging hardware and software.
- Operation and maintenance of EV charging stations.
The site host will be responsible for covering the remaining project costs.
What other incentives are available?
In addition to NEVI federal funds, several state and municipal governments and utility companies offer rebates, grants, and incentives to support the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. You can find the programs available in your area by clicking here.
