Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Charge @Home Program

CALSTART’s Communities in Charge program is offering rebates for the deployment of Level 2 EV charging stations in California.

National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program

The NEVI Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding to states to deploy DC fast charging stations along designated alternative fuel corridors nationwide.

Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

Tax Credit Visit Website

Qualifying businesses can receive a 30% tax credit, up to $100,000 per charging station, for the purchase and installation of EV charging infrastructure.

Silicon Valley Power – Multifamily Residential and Commercial EV Charging Station Incentive Program

Multifamily and non-residential properties can receive up to $8,000 per Level 2 charging station (up to 100% of project cost, $150k max per property).

CALeVIP: South Central Coast Incentive Project – Level 2 Charger

Available in Santa Barbara County, this program offers a base rebate up to $3,500, or 75% of project costs, whichever is less.

CALeVIP: Northern CA Incentive Project – Level 2 Charger

This incentive is offered in the Humboldt, Shasta and Tehama counties, and covers new, stub-out, replacement, or make-ready site.

Silicon Valley Power – EV charging station rebate (Residential)

Program funds up to $550 per charging station. Level 2 charging stations that are hardwired installations that require a panel upgrade maybe eligible for an additional rebate of up to $1,000.

SCAQMD – Residential EV Charging Incentive Program

Applicants may be eligible for a rebate of $250-$500 for installing a level 2 EV charging station.
